Elena Chiavegato was born to Italian father and Japanese mother. Starting playing the piano at three years old, at ten was admitted to Conservatorio “Giuseppe Verdi” di Milano and at just seventeen graduated with full marks, cum laude and special honours with Edda Ponti and Silvia Limongelli. As a scholarship holder of the Accademia Internazionale di Musica di Cagliari, she later entered the Classe de Perfectionnement of École Normale de Musique de Paris “Alfred Cortot” with Jean-Marc Luisada. Currently attending a Master degree in Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya of Barcelona with Pierre Réach and specializing in Spanish repertoire with Albert Attenelle. She also worked with Dominique Merlet, Paul Badura-Skoda and Pavel Gililov.

Elena debuted in 2006 at Teatro dal Verme of Milan for the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth in collaboration with I Pomeriggi Musicali and Società del Quartetto.

Winner of more than 20 FIRST prizes in national/international competitions and also "Premio Giulio Forziati" as the best graduated student and "Premio Milano-Donna" as the best talent of the year.

She performed in important venues of various city in Italy (Sala Verdi del Conservatorio di Milano, Teatro alla Scala di Milano where she played for Lang Lang, Società dei Concerti di Milano, Serate Musicali, I Pomeriggi Musicali etc), France (Salle Cortot of Paris, Unesco, Maison de la Radio etc), UK, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Malta. She appeared on Rai1(TV), France Musique and recorded for Gruppo Mondadori.

Elena is extremely passionate about Art. She loves going to museums and expositions, traveling the world and discovering new cultures. Her favorite soccer team is FC Barcelona. She is also able to speak 7 languages: Italian, Japanese, English, French, Spanish, German and currently learning Catalan.
